The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) of the Kingdom of Cambodia categorically rejects the unfounded allegations made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand on 10 August 2025, accusing Cambodia of planting new anti-personnel mines. Cambodia, a state party since 2000, has strictly complied with the Ottawa Convention, destroying over 1 million anti-personnel mines and 3 million explosive remnants, contributing to humanitarian efforts and UN peacekeeping missions, and reaffirming its readiness to work constructively with Thailand.
